Truth Ugly - doseone, Fatboi Sharif & steel tipped dove

Truth Ugly is a savage capture of chaos and rap overlapping. A three headed attack on the senses, and seamless melting of what makes doseone, Fatboi Sharif, and steel tipped dove exactly disgusting.

TRUTH UGLY began the moment dose and sharif spoke, on the phone in 2024, and quickly took form as the two recorded amidst dose & dove’s final in person sessions for “All Portrait No Chorus” released in 2025. “Vietnam Ghosts” was born first in a blaze of laughter and freestyle faced hours at dove’s. The two jersey genesis menaces to normative rap found a chemistry for their shared singularity immediately and everything exploded from there.

dose went home to New Mexico, with a handful of bizarre source sessions dove recorded. Then dose bent them into whatever they were meant to be. dove then integrated the two halves of inspired unpredictable production into their ugly awesome current forms.

The three friends proceeded to destroy the album in swaths together across several recording sessions in Brooklyn. This record, the process, the purpose, is all lighting in a bottle…A thrashing collaborative stab at something visceral and imaginative, fucked up and phenomenal.

The aesthetic, initiative and artifacts are brought to you by two independent labels moving as one Fused Arrow Records and Handsmade.
